the June 28 - July 1, 2005 National Conference in Charlottetown PEI. Look
for more information as it becomes available on the conference section
of our website. July 1st in Charlottetown is the place to be, second only
to Ottawa, for Canada Day celebrations. The Island is a great place to
relax for a few extra days on your own with your golf clubs or enjoy all
that the Island has to offer for an extended stay with your family.
The Credit
Professional Employment Program was redesigned last fall and is now available
in English and French. Advertisements have been coming in strong for credit
positions across the Country. If you are looking for employment or are
considering a change of employer please post a profile of your resume
on-line. If you are in the process of hiring a credit professional we
can help - send us your ad today (Only $250 plus tax for a 60 day ad).
The Credit
Institute will be piloting an in-class offering of Credit Management through
the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) beginning September
2004. The course will be offered this Fall and next Spring. The previous
in-class programs were dissolved 2 years ago due to inconsistencies in
the different programs, administration and communication challenges between
National, Chapters, in-class schools and students. This pilot with NAIT
was designed to correct the problems the in-class programs faced in the
past and the National Education Committee is looking forward to its assessment
next June.
