President's Welcome

Invitation to Join Us!

On behalf of the South Western Ontario Chapter of the Credit Institute of Canada, I would like to welcome you as we introduce our program for the 2008-09 year. This is  our 32nd year in operation as a chapter of the Credit Institute. My name is Christine Chase and I am your current President as of August 2007. Along with the other members of the board of directors, I have worked diligently to prepare an interesting and educational season. Our dinner meetings this year will be at the Aroma Restaurant; I hope to see you there!   We have decided to keep our same venue as last year as the food and atmosphere were enjoyed by all. I encourage you to review our website as it is being up dated for your convenience too.

Credit Institute of Canada members benefit from:

National Membership:
The pride, prestige and status of belonging to a National Association of Credit Professionals and the “ONLY” Canadian professional organization granting designations in Credit Management.

“To Your Credit”: Newsletter published four times per year and available to all current members.

Chapter Involvement: Credit Institute of Canada has 13 Chapters and 2 Forums across Canada providing opportunities for networking, educational programs, seminars, and social events. Earn valuable Professional Development points by being involved.

Advocacy: Educating members on issues and legislation, which affect credit professionals in Canada.

National Conference: A conference is held every two years in Canada providing an opportunity to further credit related skills, and network with industry peers.

If you have any question please e-mail me at christine_chase@ryder.com or by phone 519-681-3300 ext #111.
